The Bitter Root Pottery studio in The Village at Westfield Topanga is a fun, eclectic space.  The client is an incredibly creative duo - an Artist and a Businessman.  The combination made for some really interesting design charettes and yielded a truly unique interior space.

Most of the casework and furniture are custom - including the member shelves, throwing tables, and classroom layouts.  The lighting consists of some simple industrial pendants and some odd antique fixtures sourced by the client.

The retail displays and quirky decorative pieces are all found-items curated by the Artist.  The general design direction is industrial, functional, and fun.  The client delved to create a space that would cultivate curiosity and promote creativity.
